Clinical Care Model
At RCYH, clinical support is part of the rhythm of the home. It helps guide how we understand each child or youth, how we support our staff, and how we respond to the everyday moments that shape care.
Through Renew’s broader wrap-around service model, clinical guidance is built into RCYH’s residential care approach to ensure peace and comfort. Our Clinical Manager, Teresa Riccitelli, supports the home’s clinical direction, connecting Plans of Care and safety planning to daily routines.
The goal is to bring clinical guidance into daily care in a way that helps children and youth settle, build trust, and experience a safe home.

Emotional Wellbeing and Safer Coping
Helps children and youth name big feelings, build confidence, strengthen identity, and develop safer ways to cope when distress rises, including when self-harm thoughts or unsafe coping are present.
School, Routine, and Daily Life
Practical help with school routines, motivation, problem-solving, hygiene, life skills, and participation in everyday activities.
Staff Consultation and Care Planning
Clinical guidance that helps staff connect Plans of Care, coping strategies, safety planning, and daily routines in the home.
Clinical supports are planned with the placing agency and shaped around the child or youth’s needs, consent requirements, safety considerations, and Plan of Care. When concerns are urgent, RCYH works with the placing agency and the appropriate crisis, medical, or emergency supports.
